• I believe that everyone is entitled to make their own medical choices. Every person’s medical and personal situation is unique, and the government should not infringe on citizens’ freedom to make those deeply personal decisions. These are choices that should be made between themselves, their family, and trusted medical professionals; not the government. People are smart, competent, and can make informed decisions for themselves.

  • School funding is an ongoing issue. We have seen many operating levies for our local school districts on the ballots in recent years. Funding from property taxes is the main source of funding for our local public schools and does not increase as inflation or housing prices go up. Currently, the only way to increase funding is to pass a levy or institute a school income tax. The only way to fix school funding is at the state level. The first step to this is ensuring that The Fair School Funding Plan is fully funded in the State budget. The next step to this is to make sure that the funding will cover inflation. If schools are funded appropriately at the state level, public schools should not need to come back to the community as often for levies.

  • I support the Citizens Not Politicians initiative to create fair and impartial districts that represent all of Ohio’s constituents. No party should have the power to draw districts that benefit them, and not Ohio as a whole. That isn’t working for your voters. It’s working for yourself. I trust the voters/citizens of Ohio to make their own choices.
